SidelineSwap has set fixed rate shipping costs for most major categories on the site. For example, in the US, hockey sticks are now $11.99 to ship, baseball bats are $11.99 to ship, and lacrosse helmets are $13.99 to ship. (Note: You must use our suggested weight and dimensions to be eligible for fixed rates.) So buyers located in California and New York will pay the same shipping cost for the same gear (at no added cost to you).
Previously, if a seller listed a hockey stick for $100 some buyers might be charged an additional $9 shipping and others might be charged $19. Now sellers can list their stick for $112 with Free Shipping and know that the buyer will always see the same price and you'll always be charged your standard fee plus $11.99 for shipping.
Please note, fixed rate shipping only applies to items sold domestically (so a US seller to a US buyer or a Canadian seller to a Canadian buyer). SidelineSwap does not have fixed international rates.
