It is not currently possible to block another user on SidelineSwap. That said, to avoid tense or unpleasant situations, follow the below steps:
- Be polite and communicative with other users: If you stay on top of your swaps and are fully communicative with your buyers, they won't have any reason to be upset with you or behave in ways that would make you want to block them. Be transparent about any potential issues, answer their questions in a timely manner, and give them a great customer experience!
- Politely that someone ceases communication with you, or ask that they stop behaving in a certain way: If someone is starting to make you feel uncomfortable, we recommend letting them know and politely asking that they stop.
- Ignore users who won't stop messaging you: If you've asked another user to leave you alone, but they're persisting, simply ignore the other user. People who send messages to pick fights or bother others are hoping for a reaction. If you don't react, they'll stop eventually!
- Reach out to customer support for help: If you've tried all of the above and another user won't stop messaging you, or is using violent or offensive language, reach out to SidelineSwap support so we can step in on your behalf.
We want to keep SidelineSwap a fun and friendly community. It takes two users to keep a transaction that way, so make sure you're giving your best to your buyers!
