SidelineSwap “bumps” are designed to help sellers maximize visibility and sell their items quickly. When an item is bumped, it moves to the top of the SidelineSwap item feed, attracting more potential buyers.
Recent Updates to Bumps (August 2024)
SidelineSwap has made several improvements to how bumps work. Here’s what you need to know:
- Sellers can now bump any item in their locker at any time without a limit on the number of items they can bump.
- Each item can only be manually bumped once every seven days.
- Items that sell within a week of being bumped will incur a 3% fee. If the item sells more than seven days after its last bump, the additional 3% fee will not apply.
- Sellers can no longer purchase packs of bumps.
- Sellers who upgrade to Sideline Pro gain access to Auto Bumps, which automatically bump items once per month without the 3% fee.
- Sellers will no longer receive free bumps on Saturdays.
How to Bump Your Items
You can manually bump your items from both the SidelineSwap app and the website. Here’s how:
- From the Item Page: On the item's page, locate and select the “Bump” action.
-
From Your Locker:
- On the SidelineSwap website: Click the three dots next to the item to find the “Bump” action.
- On the app: The “Bump” action should be immediately visible next to each item.
Once you bump your item, it will move back to the top of the SidelineSwap feed, increasing its visibility.
How Do Auto-Bumps Work?
Auto-Bumps are a feature available to Sideline Pro subscribers. Here’s how they function:
- Automatic Refresh: Auto Bumps automatically bump your items once every 28 days, ensuring they stay visible without manual intervention.
- Exemption from Additional Fees: Items bumped through Auto Bumps do not incur the 3% fee, regardless of when they sell.
