No. You can buy an item or make an offer on SidelineSwap without signing up first. Just enter your email at checkout, and we’ll set up your account for you as part of the purchase.
How guest checkout works
- On the item page, tap Buy Now or Make Offer.
- Enter your email address. A phone number is optional.
- Tap Continue. We create your account and sign you in automatically.
- Enter your shipping address, choose a shipping option, and add your payment method.
- Place your order.
You’ll then see your order confirmation, along with the username we created for you. You can change your username anytime in your account settings.
Making an offer as a guest
Offers work the same way. After you submit your offer, we’ll email you when the seller responds. You’ll only be charged if the seller accepts.
“An account already exists with this email”
If your email or phone number already belongs to a SidelineSwap account, you’ll be asked to sign in. This keeps anyone else from placing an order on your account. Once you sign in, you’ll go straight back to checkout for the same item.
If you see this message for a phone number you don’t recognize, you can continue without the phone number.
