If your bat exhibits any of the following characteristics, it will not be considered for trade-in:
- Dents & Deformities: If a dent is larger than a nickel or the barrel has any bending, use a towel to run your hand around the bat to feel for significant dents.
- Rattling in the Barrel: Shake the bat near your ear and listen for any rattling sounds inside.
- Cracks: Look for large, “shark tooth”-like cracks. Light webbing or minor paint chips are acceptable.
- End Cap Issues: Check if the end cap is broken, loose, or twisting by gently inspecting and attempting to rotate it.
- Grip Condition: If the grip is missing or severely damaged, it must be replaced before trading in the bat.
- Counterfeit Bats: Ensure the bat is authentic and not a counterfeit model
