A: We provide a prepaid FedEx Ground shipping label for all trade-ins. Simply print the label after submitting your trade-in through our site. Pack your items securely and drop off at any FedEx location.
Q: Do I need to pay for shipping?
A: Shipping is free for trade-ins valued at $100 or more. For trade-ins under $100, a $10 shipping fee will be deducted from your payment.
Q: Where can I get a box for shipping?
A: You can reuse the box from a recent partner order, or purchase one at any FedEx Office location.
PAYMENT & TIMING
Q: How will I get paid for my trade-in?
A: You can choose between:
- An e-gift card from our partner
- A credit on any partner order made in the last 30 days
Q: How long does the trade-in process take?
A: Here's the typical timeline:
- Shipping: Allow up to 5 business days to arrive at our facility (but typically 2-3)
- Inspection: Within 2 business days of receipt
- Payment: Within 24 hours (e-gift card) or 48 hours (order credit) after inspection

A: We accept items with resale value on the secondary market. Trade-in values are based on current market data from sidelineswap.com and update monthly. Contact us if you believe your item should qualify but isn't listed.
Q: What are the condition requirements?
A: All items must meet our minimum condition requirements, which you'll see clearly outlined before completing your trade-in.
Q: How accurate does my item description need to be?
A: Our experts carefully review each item upon arrival. In over 98% of cases, customers receive their quoted value. If we notice any differences in the item details, we may adjust the trade-in value accordingly and will always communicate any changes with you.
Q: What if my item doesn't meet trade-in requirements?
A: We want every trade-in to be successful. However, if our experts find that an item is significantly different from its description or has damage that wasn't noted, we may not be able to accept it. In these rare cases, while we can't return the item, we'll ensure it's recycled or donated responsibly.
