Sideline Pro+ subscribers can set an auto-reject threshold on their listings, which automatically rejects lowball offers. This feature saves time and allows sellers to focus on serious buyers.
How do I set an auto-reject threshold?
You can configure the auto-rejection feature during the listing process or while editing an existing item. Here's how:
- Navigate to the List Flow:
- Whether you're listing a new item or editing an existing one, go to the listing page. .
- Set the Auto-Reject Percentage:
- Find the option to set a percentage for auto-rejecting offers.
- Enter the percentage below your asking price that you consider a lowball offer. For example, setting it to 10% means offers more than 10% below your asking price will be automatically rejected.
How Auto-Rejection Works
- Buyers can still submit offers lower than the percentage you've set, but you will not be notified when these come through.
- If an offer is below your auto-reject threshold, it will be automatically rejected after 3 minutes, making it seem like it was touched and evaluated by a human.
- You will receive a notification once an offer has been auto-rejected in case you’d like to continue the negotiation.
By using the auto-rejection feature for lowball offers, you can enhance your selling efficiency and focus on valuable negotiations.
