In March 2019, we released an automated feedback feature. Going forward, when Sellers drop a sale, an automated posting will generate to their feedback page. When a Seller completes a sale and the Buyer does not manually leave feedback, an automated positive posting will generate. When a Seller drops a sale, but goes above and beyond to salvage the sale, no negative feedback is generated. This includes contacting SidelineSwap Support and the Buyer within 24 hours of the sale and offering an alternative item where necessary.
The objective of this feature is to do a better job of holding Sellers accountable for the handling of their sales. It will also serve to better reward communicative, prompt, and generally reliable Sellers.
As you've noticed, this process included backfilling past sales. If you think there is negative feedback in your account that was generated in error, let us know the Swap ID and we'll be happy to revisit the swap.
